SEO Audit – What It Includes and Why It Matters
An SEO audit is the starting point of every SEO strategy. Without it, you're optimizing blindly — you might be working on something that isn't the problem.
1. Technical SEO
We check whether Google can crawl and index your site correctly:
- Crawl errors: 404, 5xx, redirect chains, timeouts
- robots.txt: is it blocking important pages?
- Sitemap.xml: is it up to date and submitted to GSC?
- HTTPS: all resources on https, no mixed content
- Canonical tags: are they correct, no duplication?
- hreflang: for multilingual sites — are they reciprocal?
2. On-Page SEO
We analyze the quality of meta data and content:
- Title tags: unique, 50-60 characters, with target keyword
- Meta descriptions: 140-160 characters, with call to action
- H1-H6 structure: logical hierarchy, no duplicate H1s
- Internal links: every important page has at least 2-3 internal links
- Thin content: pages with under 300 words and no added value
3. Speed and Core Web Vitals
- LCP: under 2.5 sec (main content loading)
- INP: under 200 ms (user interaction response)
- CLS: under 0.1 (visual stability)
- Mobile: touch targets, fonts, spacing
4. Backlink Profile
- Internal links: orphan pages, anchor texts
- External links: quality, relevance, spam links
- Lost links: 404 pages that external links point to
5. Competitor Analysis
- Who ranks for your target keywords?
- What content do they have that you don't?
- What does their backlink profile look like?
